John is leader of the PwC financial services tax practice in Ireland. John specialises in insurance, banking and securitisation and advises on international taxation and structured finance transactions. He has extensive experience in advising international insurance and banking groups with operations in Ireland. John is a regular speaker and presenter on international tax issues facing the FS industry. He is a member of the PwC Eurofirm Insurance and Pensions Group and the PwC EU Direct Tax Group which identifies and highlights discriminatory tax treatment in the EU and advises clients on remedies.
