Terry McCaughey

Terry McCaughey currently holds a number of advisory roles with a variety of companies in the Securities Industry. He is: an Advisor to OMGEO; to Invest Northern Ireland; to Interactive Technologies Europe Limited; and to COR Financial Solutions. He is a Non-Executive Director of Hargreave Hale Limited and is also Chairman of that stockbroker’s Audit and Compliance committee. He is also a director of the Securities and Investment Institute and a member of the Institute’s Chairman’s Committee and also a non-executive director of two private companies. He is also a JP and regularly sits on the Bench of the City of London Magistrates Court. Mr. McCaughey completed a short assignment with Deutsche Bank in May 2001 as COO of that Bank’s Securities Services division.. Prior to this he was for a short period in early 2000, Director, Global Sales and Customer Services at Clearstream Banking based in Luxembourg, after the merger of Cedelbank and Deutsche Boerse Clearing, in January 2000. Prior to this, Mr. McCaughey was with the HSBC Group for 15 years, latterly as Director in charge of their global custody operations in London. He was also Chairman of Midland Stockbrokers Limited and Chairman of HSBC Global Fund Services, which he set up in 1998. Before this he headed the Group’s Securities Services division in Hong Kong and was previously Head of HSBC’s treasuries in Australia and New Zealand. He also worked for JP Morgan’s Australian affiliate in Australia between 1975 and 1985 and the Bank of New Zealand in both Australia and New Zealand, between 1967 and 1975. He is a business graduate of Monash University in Australia, a fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance, a founding fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a senior certified member of the Finance and Treasury Association of Australia, and a Member and board member of the Securities Institute in the UK. Mr. McCaughey is married with two adult daughters and lives in Fulham. His interests include golf, rugby, reading, and old English film comedies. He is a member of the RAC in the UK and the Athenaeum and Melbourne Cricket Clubs in Melbourne.
