Herbert Stepic is deputy chairman of Raiffeisen Zentralbank. It was among the first banks to set up operations in currently thirteen countries in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to founding subsidiaries, these activities centred on the creation of leasing companies, investment banks, building societies and insurance companies.
