Eric H. Holder Jr. is the 82nd Attorney General of the United States. He has been the recipient of lobbying from Caribbean jurisdictions concerned over a US crackdown on legitimate offshore financial services under the guise of tax clawback efforts by the White House, pushed by President Barack Obama. Holder himself is of Caribbean extraction, and was nominated by the Government of Barbados as part of a project to honour 100 great Barbadians, as the first nomineee on the list.
