Michael Lipper
President
Lipper Consulting Services Inc.
Michael founded Lipper Analytical Services in 1973 and sold it to Reuters Group plc in 1998. The firm provides performance analysis of SEC and non-SEC funds around the world, fee and expense analysis and portfolio analysis. After graduating from Columbia College in 1957, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1960, Mike left active duty as a Communications Officer/Combat Cargo Officer to embark on his professional career as a securities analyst. From 1993-1994, he served as President of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He was, for many years, the chairman of the Investment Strategy Forum/Portfolio Management Committee. He has been a Regional Director of the Financial Analysts Federation and is currently Director of the International Society of Financial Analysts. Mike is also a Past Chairman of the Specialty Firms Advisory Committee to the New York Stock Exchange Board of Directors.
