HE Yousef Hussain Kamal, is the Minister of Economy & Finance of Qatar, and is the chairman of the Qatar FInancial Authority, and chairman of Qatar National Bank, and The Doha Securities Market. He is a board member of the Qatar Investment Authority.
He was section chief within the department of Financial Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Petroleum in 1973. After that he held other posts in the Ministry such as Director of Financial Affairs in 1998 and under Secretary of Ministry of Finance, Economy and Commerce in 1993. He assumed his current post in 1998.
