Luc Frieden is the Luxembourg Minister of Finance. He was appointed Minister of Finance in 2009 having previously served as Minister of Justice, Minister of Budget and Minister of Defence.

He also serves as the Luxembourg Governor of the World Bank, of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and of the Asian Development Bank.
