Jacek Rostowski is Minister of Finance of Poland succeeding Zyta Gilowska. He is a former advisor to the government of the Russian Federation on macro-economic policy and since 2004 he has been an advisor to the Board of the Bank PEKAO S.A.

From 1997 to 2001 he was Head of the Council for Macro Economic Policy in Poland’s Ministry of Finance

He is also Co-founder of the Centre for Social and Economic Analysis (Centrum Analiz Społeczno-Ekonomicznych - CASE) and a member of the Foundation’s Council.
